Programs

Coaching for every crease.

From first-year goalies to junior prospects. Every program is built on the same thing: what the position actually demands at the highest level, taught by someone who lived it.

Private lessons

One goalie, one net, one coach who played the position at the highest level. Every session is built around your game, not a generic drill sheet.

On-ice, 60 minutes

Semi-private

Two or three goalies of a similar level. You get competitive reps, live tracking against real shooters, and more puck volume than any camp.

On-ice, 60-90 minutes

Team goalie skates

Dedicated goalie instruction inside your team practice or as a standalone skate. Your goalies stop being an afterthought at the far net.

Consulting & video

Game footage broken down the way NHL goalie coaches do it: positioning, save selection, and habits, with a clear plan to fix what matters first.

The coach

Michael Hutchinson

Drafted by Boston in 2008. Eleven professional seasons. 154 NHL games for the Jets, Panthers, Maple Leafs, Avalanche, Blue Jackets, Red Wings, and Devils.

Michael made his NHL debut with the Winnipeg Jets in 2014 and spent five seasons in the organization. He has been the starter, the backup, and the guy fighting for the job, which is exactly the range of situations young goalies need to learn to handle.

Now retired and back in Winnipeg, he coaches the position the way NHL goalie departments actually work: on-ice technical reps, video review after, and honest feedback about what to fix first.

Video review

The tape doesn't lie.

Every NHL goalie watches their starts back with a coach. That habit is the single biggest gap between pro development and minor hockey, and it is built into every Hutchinson Goaltending program.

Filmed sessions

Key reps are captured on ice, so you see what your coach sees.

Side-by-side breakdown

Your save next to the NHL version of the same save. The difference is the lesson.

A plan, not a highlight reel

You leave with the one or two things to fix before next session, in writing.

Ice time is limited.
So are spots.

Tell us the goalie's age and level, and we'll find the right fit.
